On December 26, 2004, the Asian Tsunami affected millions of lives which were forever changed by this tragedy. In collaboration with specialist exhibition engineers, I designed a powerful photography exhibition for Oxfam, held outside the Hayward Gallery in London, to commemorate the anniversary of this event in a meaningful way, and to raise awareness and support for those still affected a year after the disaster.
My design for the exhibition created a moving and impactful experience for visitors, showcasing the images captured by photographers on the ground in the aftermath of the tsunami, and revisiting the same scenes a year later.
The exhibition was not only a tribute to the victims and the communities affected by the disaster but also a call to action, highlighting the ongoing need for support and aid in the region. To further support the fundraising effort, I also designed a photographic book and other materials, helping to bring the impact of the tsunami to life.
