The story of Cecil the lion's death sparked a global outcry and brought attention to the challenges of wildlife conservation. As timing would have it, at the time I was working as the graphic designer for the Oxford Today alumni magazine, which picked up on the story as it involved Oxford alumni. Because of the global significance of the story, I worked on many more spin-off materials to help raise awareness and increase funding for this wildlife project, such as a supplementary publication of Oxford Today featuring WildCRU.
